Why now is a good time to write your Will
As we have gone into lockdown and Christmas is fast approaching there has never been a better time to write your Will. All Josiah Hincks offices will remain open and our staff are ready and willing to take your instructions so there is no reason to delay writing one of the most important documents you will ever sign.
Why is writing a Will so important?
Don’t leave it to chance, if you die without a Will your estate would follow the rules of intestacy and might not necessarily pass to the people you want it to. You might want to leave items that you cherish to a specific friend or member of your family, or perhaps a charity that is close to your heart– unless you set these wishes out in a Will they would not happen.
If you have young children you need to appoint a guardian to care for them in the event of your death. Without a Will this decision could be made by the Courts and your children may end up with someone you would not have chosen.
