Dawn first qualified as a legal executive becoming a Fellow in 1996. After some years in practice Dawn went on to study whilst working full time to become a Solicitor and qualified in 2004. Dawn originally practised in Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. She moved with her family to Leicestershire in 2009 and following a career break whilst raising two young children, Dawn returned to family law in 2013 working for two city centre firms before joining Josiah Hincks in June 2020.
Dawn advises in relation to divorce, separation and the associated problems with regard to finances and children. Dawn also advises on protection of wealth at the outset of and, during relationships dealing with Cohabitation or Living Together Agreements and Pre/Post-nuptial Agreements.
Dawn is a member of Resolution and takes a conciliatory approach to resolving disputes where possible. She is also a qualified Collaborative Lawyer where matters are resolved without using the court process.
