Carl was formerly an equity Partner/Director of GS Solicitors a firm which he helped establish in 2005 .
He qualified as Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1990. He is now a Chartered Legal Executive with over 40 years’ experience in Residential and Commercial Property, Wills and Probate and Private Client matters.
He originally trained with a company legal department before moving into private practice joining Hale Randle and Stevenson in 1988 and thereafter established himself as an Associate at Headleys Solicitors in Hinckley for 16 years before the creation of GS Solicitors in 2005 .
He now specialises in all aspects of Residential Property Law, including sales and purchases of leasehold and freehold property, registered and unregistered land, New Build purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, equity release/ lifetime mortgages, right to buy, first time buyers, acting on behalf of the lender and purchase of residential property through a Company. He is also experienced in purchasing property with the aid of Help to Buy Scheme Loans, Help to Buy ISA’s and Lifetime ISA’s. He also deals with acquisition of land for residential development and sale of plots for several established clients.
He is also a member of the CILEX specialist reference group providing advice ,input and legal practice insight to CILEX .
Carl is a former Chairman and President of Hinckley Round Table. In the past he was an active member involved in social and charitable fund-raising activities. He is now an active member of 41 Club (ex-Round Tablers Group).
