The Role:

The Marketing Executive will support the delivery of the firm’s marketing strategy across multiple channels. This is a broad, hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys both creative and operational marketing tasks and wants to develop their career within a fast-paced legal environment.

You will work closely with the Head of Marketing & People, fee earners, and senior leadership to help promote the firm, enhance client engagement, and support business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital marketing & social media –

  • Manage and maintain the firm’s social media channels, including content planning, creation, and scheduling.
  • Monitor engagement, analyse performance metrics, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Assist with website updates, blog uploads, and optimisation of digital content.
  • Support SEO initiatives and help improve online visibility.

Content creation & brand marketing –

  • Draft and edit marketing content including articles, newsletters, website copy, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Assist with developing campaigns to promote services, teams, and key firm initiatives.

Events & business development support –

  • Plan and coordinate seminars, webinars, networking events, and community initiatives.
  • Support internal events, recruitment campaigns, and employer branding activity.
  • Assist with marketing materials and promotion for events.

Communications & campaigns –

  • Support email marketing campaigns and client communications.
  • Liaise with external suppliers such as designers, printers, and digital agencies where required.
  • Help identify opportunities for PR, awards submissions, and partnerships.

General marketing support –

  • Maintain marketing calendars and project timelines.
  • Provide marketing support to fee earners and departments.
  • Assist with reporting on marketing activity and ROI.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is organised, creative, and comfortable managing multiple projects.

Essential –

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Desirable –

  • Previous experience in a marketing role (professional services experience desirable but not essential).
  • Experience managing social media platforms professionally.
  • Experience with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, or CMS tools.
  • Understanding of SEO and digital analytics.
  • Experience planning events or marketing campaigns.
  • Interest in legal or professional services marketing.
