The Role:
The Marketing Executive will support the delivery of the firm’s marketing strategy across multiple channels. This is a broad, hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys both creative and operational marketing tasks and wants to develop their career within a fast-paced legal environment.
You will work closely with the Head of Marketing & People, fee earners, and senior leadership to help promote the firm, enhance client engagement, and support business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital marketing & social media –
- Manage and maintain the firm’s social media channels, including content planning, creation, and scheduling.
- Monitor engagement, analyse performance metrics, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Assist with website updates, blog uploads, and optimisation of digital content.
- Support SEO initiatives and help improve online visibility.
Content creation & brand marketing –
- Draft and edit marketing content including articles, newsletters, website copy, and promotional materials.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.
- Assist with developing campaigns to promote services, teams, and key firm initiatives.
Events & business development support –
- Plan and coordinate seminars, webinars, networking events, and community initiatives.
- Support internal events, recruitment campaigns, and employer branding activity.
- Assist with marketing materials and promotion for events.
Communications & campaigns –
- Support email marketing campaigns and client communications.
- Liaise with external suppliers such as designers, printers, and digital agencies where required.
- Help identify opportunities for PR, awards submissions, and partnerships.
General marketing support –
- Maintain marketing calendars and project timelines.
- Provide marketing support to fee earners and departments.
- Assist with reporting on marketing activity and ROI.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is organised, creative, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
Essential –
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Desirable –
- Previous experience in a marketing role (professional services experience desirable but not essential).
- Experience managing social media platforms professionally.
- Experience with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, or CMS tools.
- Understanding of SEO and digital analytics.
- Experience planning events or marketing campaigns.
- Interest in legal or professional services marketing.
