Neal Patterson is a Partner and experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with 14 years’ experience having dealt with hundreds of cases for all types and size commercial & charity matters.
Neal studied at the University of Dundee attaining a degree in Modern History and then completing the accelerated (two year) LLB. Neal then completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice part time at De Montfort University whilst working in legal practice. After training in Leicestershire, Neal worked in private practice in Nottingham. He then spent eight years as an in house lawyer for a charity based in Leicestershire before joining Josiah Hincks in 2019 as Head of Commercial Property. In April 2020 Neal was promoted as a Partner with Josiah Hincks.
Neal specialises in all aspects of commercial, agricultural and charity property law and is a member of the Agricultural Law Association. As well as dealing with property law matters for charities he has developed an expertise on charity governance and governing structures. He is able to conduct reviews of charity governance and advise on appropriate governing structures and trustee responsibilities including trustee training and the provision of secretarial services to charities.
In his spare time Neal is either watching, coaching or playing rugby.
